Childcare is in need of a friendly and professional TeacherÂ’s Assistant.
Daily Responsibilities will include:
Planning, scheduling, and implementing the daily program created by the Lead Teacher of appropriate developmental experiences for a classroom group of preschool children.
Provide care and protection for assigned children.
Makes daily observations of the health of children, reporting conditions which require attention.
Participates in parent-teacher conferences as assigned.
Maintains progress records on the emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development of assigned children.
Participates in staff meetings, training sessions, conferences, workshops, and other career development and professional activities.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two year or four year degree, with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education preferred.
Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.
