Christian preschool is seeking substitute teachers to be available on short notice to fill in for our regular teachers should they call in sick or wish to schedule some time off. We are open Monday - Friday from 6am - 6pm. Ability to work in the mornings, potentially as early as 6am, is preferred (the last time we advertised for subs, it seemed like everyone who responded had afternoon availability only.) Candidates must be professional, reliable, and prompt. Must be over 18, have proof of citizenship and proof of a negative TB test, be able to pass a background check, and must either have or be able to obtain First Aid & CPR cards. Previous experience in the early childhood field is not strictly necessary at the sub level, but is preferred. Could potentially lead to a more regular shift down the road, however this is not guaranteed. We serve toddlers through pre-kindergartners, plus some school-age kids in our before & after care programs. Candidates must LOVE young children and genuinely enjoy spending time with them; and be patient, kind, and highly interactive with them!
