Enable the CAD group to expand and keep up with the increasing demand for new product designs while ensuring the highest level of quality and manufacturability are maintained.
Evaluate new Mentor SW releases so that we can make use of new functionality and efficiency improvements in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Perform multi-layer PCB design and analysis for high density, high speed electronic assemblies from Schematic Capture
Work closely with engineers to insure optimal component placement as well as meeting any specific routing requirements such as high speed differential pair routing
Create the required manufacturing documentation package including all manufacturing files, schematics, fabrication and assembly drawings
Create additional parts and maintain CAD libraries and CAD data for schematics and PCB designs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications
Proficient in use of Mentor Expedition and Design Capture tools
Experience in layout techniques for high speed (> 1GHz) Digital and Analog technologies including BGA packaging and controlled impedances required.
Ability to read schematics and enter design constraints
Design to relevant IPC standards.
Ability to write scripts and manipulate data files a plus
Good communication skills both written and verbal
A solid work history and proven track record of completing projects on time
5-7 years experience creating high tech electronic PCBs

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
