TROI IT Solutions, an Eastern Washington based technology consulting and management firm is continuing to! We are in search of a high caliber individual with 5+ year*s progressively responsible systems engineering experience to join our growing IT Services/Consulting firm.

The qualified candidate will provide direct support to customers by performing system-engineering tasks. In addition, the candidate will assist in designing and implementing hosted, managed, and customer specific solutions. Significant proficiency is required in concept of operations development, architecture design and review, requirements definition, system transition planning, and supporting customer defined system integration tasks. Occasional on call rotation as well as regional travel may be required.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform systems engineering activities in all phases of a project to include: discovery, design, build, test, and deploy.

• Prepare Statements of Work that accurately reflect the scope of the project.

• Interface with various customers at the technical level and propose viable solutions in real time during customer meetings.

• Effectively identify, prioritize, and translate business goals/objectives into information technology strategies/solutions.

• Work with customers to identify high-level business requirements.

• Monitor project resources, set priorities, and provide project status reporting.

Qualifications/Necessary Skills:

• 5 years experience in a Professional Services or IT Consulting environment.

• Certified Cisco Internetwork Expert (CCIE) desired.

• Must have expert level knowledge and skill in the fundamentals of IP and core IP technologies.

• Knowledge of VoIP solutions in the enterprise including Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, including Unified Messaging.

• Advanced level experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, Cisco IOS firewalls, switches, and routing equipment.

• Excellent communications, interpersonal and customer support skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

Educational Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 5 – 7 years directly related experience.
