Want to join Team Hammer? We are looking for a top-notch team player with mad barista skills to work at our Sacred Heart Medical Center location. First you must be passionate about coffee & learning about coffee; if you cannot commit to improving your knowledge, this might not be the place for you. You will be successful with us if you: *Thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment; *Know the difference between a wet & dry cappuccino, and understand why they are completely different drinks; *Can commit to developing your understanding of how to create only GREAT drinks; *Desire to learn about Whole Bean Coffee – from Origin to the Cup. *Can think on your feet & don’t need someone watching over your shoulder to make sure you get the job done; *Act with honesty, fairness & integrity, even when no one is looking; *Have a sense of humor & can roll with the punches.
1 year minimum high volume Specialty Coffee experience is required & you must be capable of replacing your drink-making habits with OURS. There are many ways to make coffee, but only one way to make Thomas Hammer Coffee. We are very serious about what we do, but not so serious we canÂ’t wake up every day & look forward to flipping on the La Marzocco.
Open availability is required as this location is open weekdays 6am-midnight, weekends 6am-6pm. Shifts vary & may include mornings, mid-shift & closings.
