Network Administrator (Spokane WA) Full-time

Position Overview:
The Network Administrator is level-2 technical position. The position is held within the Information Technology department and reports directly to the Vice President of Information Technology. The Network Administrator is responsible for the leadership, direction and support of the IT department, day-to-day operation of the network and technical support of all employees.
Responsibilities:
Technical Skill Level Requirements:
• MCSE and CCNA
• Windows Server 2003
• DNS, DHCP, PKI
• Exchange 2007
• SQL Server 2005
• Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
• ASP or ASP.NET
• VMWare
Department Management:
• Establish Budget and report on spending bi-annually
• Ensure network resource availability and change management
• Make strategic technology recommendations that reduce costs and increase performance efficiencies
• Supervise and mentor the Assistant Network Administrator and interns when applicable
• Provide an escalation point for Assistant Network Administrator
• Communicate progress and challenges to the management team regularly
• Ensure end-user support requests are completed in a timely manner
Data Network Operations:
• Maintain the operation of ’s Active Directory services including, but not limited to:
o Microsoft Exchange 2007 Organization
o Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Solomon Environments
o Microsoft SQL Environment
o Microsoft SharePoint/Intranet Environment
• Maintain ’s Disaster Recover strategy:
o Ensure proper completion of system backups including server settings, critical information and network devices (Routers/Switches)
• Maintain the operation and support of ’s Cisco-based LAN and WAN Infrastructure
• Ensure availability of Remote Access services for Employees
• Enforce Network Security (Policy enforcement, border protection, AV, anti-spam, anti-spyware)
• Development of internal custom applications based on ASP and SQL
Voice Network Operations:
• Ensure availability of Voice solutions
• Ensure availability of Unified Communications solutions
Video Network Operations:
• Maintenance and support Video solutions.
Customer-Facing Support Engineer
• When required, provide technical support for customers as a backup to the engineers in the Support Center
• When required, backup field engineers from a data/Microsoft perspective
Measurement:
Work Performance, reviewed annually, will be measured on the uptime of the network, the timely completion of assigned projects and the achievement of agreed upon objectives within given time frames. Location: Spokane WA
