Career Path Services, a no-fee workforce development organization, is recruiting for a full time DD/DVR Employment Specialist in our Spokane Corporate location.

WeÂ’re looking for a professional who wants to join a team-based, performance oriented environment. Demonstrated work ethic, goal achievement, and the ability to work with a broad customer base required.
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one year job development experience with public or private employers and/or one year job coaching experience. Four year college degree preferred.

The purpose of this position: This position is designed to provide all comprehensive Individual Supported Employment (ISE) job placement and training services. Working primarily with participants with developmental disabilities and/or mental health issues, the Employment Specialist assists the participant to formulate an employability plan by assessing his/her interests, abilities and employment goals. Job development involves direct contact with employers to secure employment for participants. Job coaching includes initial job analysis, task analysis, intensive one-on-one training, supervisor and coworker training, fading, follow along, job retention and replacement. The stability of this position depends directly upon individual employee and team performance and goal attainment.
