Harbor Crest Retirement Community is seeking a Business Office Manager. This is a full-time, hourly position. The BOM is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the business office, which includes but is not limited to:
•Overseeing the community accounting functions including accounts receivable/collections and accounts payable
•Overseeing all aspects of resident billing
•Performing Human Resources administrative duties
•Manage employee benefit programs
•Coordinate all payroll functions
•Maintain all aspects of resident and employee files.
Qualifications include:
•High school diploma or equivalent required, some college courses in Business Administration preferred.
•Fundamental accounting experience/knowledge is preferred.
•Must display genuine concern for the physical and emotional needs of older people and their families.
•Ability to perform mathematical calculations in support of financial responsibilities, budget and personnel actions.
•Outstanding oral and written communication in English is required.
•Must be able to explain and communicate information to a wide audience and at different levels of understanding (associates, residents, family members, vendors,
etc.) both in writing and verbally.
•Must be proficient in software appropriate for office operations and in the use of basic computer equipment and email.
•Must be able to pass a background check and be eligible for coverage under our auto insurance.
