Custom Sign Company in the Sandpoint, Idaho area is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer / Sign Maker with 5 plus years of experience.

Job Highlights
1. Promote the goals and mission statement of the business
2. Provide outstanding customer service at all times
3. Design and output signs on the computer
4. Assemble signs
5. Install signs
6. Assist customers at front counter and engage in sales
7. Answer phone calls and engage in sales
8. Ability to learn use of Cyrious software (operations software)
9. Valid drivers license to run work related errands
10. Open and close the business
11. Maintain the business in a clean and orderly fashion
12. Track and re-order supplies
13. Assist with file maintenance
14. Work safely and maintain a safe work environment
15. Follow company rules and procedures
Technical Requirements
Must have proven design expertise with software applications including Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator. Would also like Adobe Indesign and Quark, CorelDRAW, or Freehand skills. Experience with FlexiSIGN in a production environment driving cutters or plotters are a plus. Preferable candidate has created files for production on large format devices located in house.
Need hands on experience with Large-Format Printers from Roland, Mutoh or Mimaki, but HP/Seiko, Epson are OK.
Experience with RIP software such as Roland Versaworks, Onyx, Wasatch, SAi or another production RIP software is required.
Successful experience with a cold laminator is required.
Color Management Experience is a very nice to have. Academic experience in color theory and hands – on experience with calibration devices for monitors and printers is preferred.
Daily duties include managing the production work flow in the shop, answering phone calls, taking orders, providing options to prospects, design jobs, and sign assembly.
