Looking for a fashionable person to fill full-time keyholder position. Must have open availability (9:30AM-9:30PM, Sunday-Saturday). Position is in an upscale womens clothing store new to Washington. Position has 32+ hours/week. Must have customer service, sales or retail experience, management is a plus. Please see full job description below. Job Title: Store Keyholder
Job Reports to: Store Manager or Assistant Manager
Job Location: Northtown Mall ECCOCI
Job Objective: To maximize sales and customer service
Job Skills: Read, write and speak English; ability to use office equipment and systems such as computer, printer, e-mail, fax machine, copier, telephone system, cash register, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform all duties of sales cashier as well as some duties of assistant manager as shown below:
Sales Cashier Duties Shared by Supervisor:
1. Greet customers and see that their needs are met on the sales floor, in the fitting room and at the cash register.
2. Offer apparel selections and outfit options.
3. Learn fabric qualities, construction details and garment care product knowledge.
4. Focus on sales goals and maintain a minimum of 3.0 units-per transaction (UPT) at all times for each transaction.
5. Ensure that the needs of customers are satisfied. If the request of a customer cannot be satisfied by an associate, refer the situation to a senior associate, supervisor, assistant manager or manager.
6. All customers should be thanked as they leave whether or not they make a purchase.
7. Maintain a strong selling culture.
8. Merchandise taken from the fitting rooms should be placed back on the selling floor as soon as possible.
9. Assist in maintaining a properly merchandised selling floor including setting up new window displays, floor displays, end-caps, counter-tops, etc.
10. Assist in keeping the selling floor neat and organized at all times.
11. Assist in keeping the selling floor neat and tidy, free from dust, and swept or vacuumed at all times.
12. Assist in keeping all office and stockroom space neat, organized and clean at all times. Stockrooms must be organized and maintained as if inventory was taking place.
13. Participate in stock keeping work and checking in distributions and/or transfers between locations.
14. Follow all procedures at the cash register and with all transaction forms for immediate take-away, shipping or pick-up.
15. Maintain a high level of security standards.
Assistant Manager duties shared by Keyholder:
1. Support the store/selling manager and assistant manager. Work as a team to develop the strategies for the day and to accommodate the needs of the planned business. Ensure that the expectations of the store/selling manager are executed.
2. In the absence of the store/selling manager or assistant manager, assume the role of the store/selling manager or assistant manager, as appropriate.
3. Arrive on schedule. The opening assistant manager or keyholder must ensure that the store is ready for opening and that the selling floor has adequate and planned coverage. If this is not the case, it is the responsibility of the assistant manager or opening keyholder to arrange for the proper coverage. This may include enlisting the support of other stores and/or departments.
4. Be responsible for security of keys, store merchandise, alarm systems, HVAC systems, etc. when opening for the day.
5. The closing assistant manager or keyholder must ensure that adequate staff is available to conduct the closing procedures. Over-staffing is not allowed, and staff cuts should be made in the event of an over-staffed procedure. Before dismissing staff, ensure that all of the daily duties have been preformed.
6. Be responsible for security of keys, store merchandise, alarm systems, HVAC systems, etc when closing for the day.
7. If necessary, plan break and lunch schedules for associates. Ensure that the demands of the business are satisfied and make revisions to the schedule as needed throughout the day.
8. If necessary, assign floor coverage to associates. Assign daily duties to associates. Monitor the selling floor and stock areas as needed throughout the day to ensure that the duties requested of each associated are executed as expected.
9. Ensure that our guests/customers needs are met. This would include but is not limited to directing the flow of traffic to and from fitting rooms, directing the flow of traffic between cash/wrap areas.
10. Closely supervise the selling floor and the associates. Assist associates when needed to ensure a clear and concise understanding of the expectations. Enlist the support of the associates to ensure that all stock and selling duties are executed.
11. Assist any associate who is not following proper procedure or direction and counsel the associate as needed or advise the assistant manager or manager up their arrival.
12. Ensure that the daily cash and charges balance as are required.

Job Physical Requirements:
Ability to see, hear, speak, sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
