Executive Recruiter--Energy/Utilities Industry

General Scope:
The Recruiter will be responsible for identifying and developing new clients for the executive search and management recruiting division for Scope Services, a national firm with 44 years of experience. Partner with client’s to create successful research and recruiting strategies which result in sourcing impact candidates. Manage the recruiting process to ensure that the client’s needs are being met and that the recruiting process is completed in a timely and effective manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop leads for business development with existing and potential clients.
• Participate as a key member of Scope Services’ recruiting team. Work with recruiter’s and management team on strategic business initiatives, especially as they relate to business development.
• Solicit, plan and execute sales calls. Create strategic presentations and provide proposals to meet/exceed client needs as well as Scope Services’ performance and growth targets.
• Ability to manage a full-cycle desk of sales and recruiting.
• Develop effective recruiting strategies for search assignments including research, recruiting, interviews and salary negotiation.
• Conduct research and recruit for specific positions through networking, direct sourcing calls, and internet recruiting.
• Interview, evaluate, and present qualified candidates to the hiring manager and coordinate scheduling of interviews.
• Act as point-person for search assignments and provide timely, comprehensive feedback to clients and candidates. Build relationships with clients and candidates.
• Provide weekly status report giving detailed information on recruiting activity to client as well as Division Manager.
• Input and track candidate/client activity through ACT database.
• Negotiate compensation offers, based on experience and competitive analysis obtained through search process.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years full life cycle recruiting experience including acquisition of job orders and the sourcing, screening and selection of qualified candidates. Prefer candidate’s who have an existing client base.
• Effective in utilizing a variety of resources to generate job leads and a strong candidate pool (Internet research, networking within specific associations, prospecting, cold-calling and direct recruitment to identify candidates).
• Sales background a plus.
• Ability to work with progressive levels of management.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates.
• Computer literate (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet Skills, ACT preferred.)
