CMTV Production Coordinator: Community-Minded Television, an Initiative of Community-Minded Enterprises, (a Spokane based non-profit organization) is seeking to hire a Production Coordinator. This position will be responsible for developing digital media programming with video and editing equipment and technology. The Production Coordinator will also work with the Graphic Design staff to facilitate services and programs for clientÂ’s graphic design and digital media needs. This position will be responsible for conducting community classes, digital media trainings, and creating content for CMTV, (the local community access TV station, channel 14).
Primary responsibilities include:
• Film, edit, and develop digital media programs for CMTV.
• Facilitate classes for community producers in basic camera operation, lighting, software (Final Cut Pro Suite, Adobe Suite), writing, and story structure.
• Plan and produce digital media programs with CME staff to advance organizational communication goals.
• Promote CMTV as a community resource for neighborhoods and community service organizations.
• Oversee CMTV Interns, Volunteers, & Work Study students to develop and complete digital media projects.
• Represent CMTV at community and partner meetings.
• Facilitate new partnerships and expand existing collaborations to advance the goals of the Community-Minded Media Initiative.
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in media arts and/or a related field necessary. Must demonstrate strong computer literacy including a high level of capablitity with the Microsoft Suite, Adobe suite programs, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Compressor and web generated content. Must also have the ability to efficiently conduct research via the Internet. Must be able to work both individually and as a part of a team.

This is a 32hr week position, with a starting salary range of $14-16 hr DOE.
