Great opportunity for a long term contract position with a large employer based in Spokane. We are seeking a senior-level Financial Analyst with at least 8 years of experience as well as a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experince. Qualified candidates will be highly proficient with Excel as it is used for creating and analyzing financial data, experience in a financial budgeting and forecasting environment, experience in analyzing a company with foreign operations including consolidations. Knowledge of Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase a big plus.
Duties are as follows:
Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
Standardize analysis and reporting across divisions.
Develop tools to improve financial acumen in the field.
Plan, formulate and conduct financial studies to define performance plans for short and long range corporate profit goals.
Evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions and opportunities.
Implement standard performance reporting for measurement against established objectives and trends.
Translate ideas into cost and profit.
Identify and reduce risk.
Develop and implement processes to increase efficiency.
Advise and train less experienced financial analysts.
Create, maintain and automate databases.
