Therapeutic Aides
For the Juvenile Rehabilitation & Foster Care Programs
Therapeutic Aides provide supportive and respite services for treatment foster care children and parents. This entails actively participating in the implementation of the clientÂ’s treatment goals by performing such duties as recreation, socialization, skill building and culturally enriching activities.
Those with an interest in working with adolescent males & females encouraged to apply
Requirements
· Minimum 21 years of age (per contract requirements)
· Minimum 1 year working with children/youth
· Reliable transportation, current vehicle insurance, current Driver’s License
· Available evenings, weekends – flexible hours
· Pass background check and reference checks
· Education or interest in Human Services If hired (paid for by agency)
· Complete CPR/First Aid, HIV/AIDS, and Restraint Trainings
· Take TB test, and pass vehicle maintenance check
Position is part-time (up to 19 hours week), Entry-level.
