We are looking for a high-level accountant to join our small accounting software company. We cater to small cities and towns in the State of Washington and are looking to expand our services beyond just providing software. As such we seek the right person to develop our professional services, which includes bookkeeping and consulting services to our clients. You would work closely with our staff CPA who currently provides software training and support.
As an ideal candidate you would be a CPA or CPA candidate with a background in governmental accounting and a strong payroll background. You would have excellent computer and problem-solving skills. You like to work independently. You have excellent organizational skills, are comfortable doing the daily accounting work, preparing financial reports, and consulting with Mayors and Councils. And youÂ’re a quick learner.
Now we realize the ideal person may not be available. The three most important skills for this job are excellent accounting and computer skills, strong communication and customer service skills, and a sharp mind. Ok, maybe thatÂ’s more than three skills.
