Responsibilities:
• Provide drafting/designer support for CES, duties will range from: general drafting, to volume calculations (cuts and fills) for pipelines and earthwork projects, to preparing detailed plans and specifications.
• Specification and layout of irrigation system components for wastewater application systems, including ordering and implementation of wastewater irrigation equipment packages.
• Participate on various project teams throughout the U.S., and potentially international.
• Coordinate technical drafting and written specifications.
• Participate in field sampling for various media (groundwater, surface water, soil...), on an as needed basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A.S. in Engineering Technology or education in engineering
• Proficient with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Word and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Focus on customer service and producing a quality project in a timely manner
• Ability to succesfully prioritize and complete multiple tasks
• Strong mathematical ability
• Ability to think logically and be capable of solving problems logically
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively either as part of a team or independently
• Ability to perform physical activities (bend, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist high, walk, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2-5 years in the professional consulting environment
• ArcView GIS experience
• Understanding of mechanized irrigation systems
• International travel and project experience
• Estimating experience
• Experience with construction oversight
