Supervisor - Client Service Team (Spokane, WA)

The Client Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities and performance of work unit team consisting of 10-15 representatives. This person ensures that all team members are properly trained and kept up to date on any changes in WDS policies or procedures that would affect general information given to members.
Responsibilities / Skills / Experience / Education:
• Oversee the daily work of all team members. Monitor the quality and quantity of work on regular basis to identify coaching, training and mentoring opportunities, or the need for process and procedure improvements.
• Utilize various system applications to handle escalated calls for providers and members. Ensure that member concerns are resolved promptly and courteously, and when possible, by the first point of contact.
• Monitor call volumes, claim inventory and personnel activities through the utilization of various real-time technology and reports. React appropriately to ensure internal and external callers are assisted in a timely manner, within established service and quality objectives.
• Coordinate and facilitate full staff or individual team meetings with representatives to ensure that they are well informed of product, policy or procedure changes and focused on service and quality objectives.
• Resolve escalated issues for callers that are sensitive and complex in nature.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager the development and administration of job standards. Ensure that all team members are meeting job standards by providing timely employee evaluations, continued training, objective guidance, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Coordinate with Operations Workforce Planning and Operations Training and Development any requirements of personnel as related to the department, including hiring, training, vacation schedules, or workflow impacts.
• Ensure payroll for your team is submitted timely and accurately.
• Provide back-up and coverage for other supervisors and in the absence of a team leader.
