This position is responsible for generating and converting sales leads for student adventure travel, through direct contact with students and teachers. This position also acts as a lead for inside sales representatives through training and mentoring.
The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in sales, territory development and lead management; experience in educational sales, strong written and verbal communication skills and be extremely metric driven.
Description of Essential Tasks:
-Generate teacher and student enrollments greater than or equal to Annual Quota.
Quotas will be defined on an annual basis and will be communicated by the Sr. Director.
-Convert teacher and student leads into travelers.
-Generate new teacher leads via social networking, email, in person efforts, conferences, and other means
-Responsible for all communication both written and verbal when managing assigned leads generated through our company marketing efforts.
-Develops new marketing strategies and methods to achieve sales growth.
-Creates, writes and edits sales communication to include letters and related sales and retention materials.
-Train and mentor Adventure Specialists
-Develop and document sales processes, and training materials.
-Assists with special sales projects as assigned.
-Creates promotional publications and materials.

Compensation: Salary + Uncapped Commission
