TROI IT Solutions, an Eastern Washington based technology consulting and management firm is expanding our Spokane IT Services/Consulting team. We are in search of a high caliber Sales Engineer who will be the primary technical resource for the field sales team. This individual will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, and be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle is crucial to this position.
Ideal candidate must be highly-motivated with a proven track record in IT infrastructure and sales, and have hands-on technical knowledge of both networking and systems technology. Must also possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Successful candidate will be organized and analytical, and be able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• 3-5+ years relevant experience in vendor sales.
• Proficiency working with Cisco routers and switches, wireless networking, and solid knowledge of VoIP solutions in the enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows Server and Desktop Architecture, and TCP/IP networking. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and MS Exchange knowledge is vital.
• Experience with SAN technologies (i.e. EMC), hosting solutions (i.e. Citrix), and virtualization (i.e. VMware)
• A B.S. in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred.
