ALK Abello´ Source Materials, Inc. (ASM), a leading manufacturer of quality allergenic biological source materials, and a member of the global ALK-Abello´ group of companies, is recruiting for our open Quality Control Supervisor position. Join our stable and growing company and provide leadership and expertise to our workforce located in our 80,000 square foot facility in Post Falls, ID.
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for provide effective management to ensure that analytical results for all source materials being shipped to a customer accurately reflect the quality of the product. The position is also responsible for ensuring QC laboratory compliance with the appropriate regulatory requirements. The position conducts a wide variety of complex tests and monitoring of results to ensure the quality parameters of products are met. The Quality Control Supervisor is also responsible for preparing required documentation of test results and will coordinate daily work flow of Laboratory Technicians and reviews their analytical results for accuracy.
The successful candidate will have a BS in Microbiology, Chemistry or a related field, plus 5 years of relevant Pharmaceutical or Quality Control experience with 2 of those years in a supervisory role or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong biochemistry/immunochemistry analytical skills a must. The candidate must have a working knowledge of regulatory requirements as well as good project management skills. Demonstration of excellent communication, facilitation skills and teamwork are a must.
All positions require the ability to work around hazardous chemicals and allergenic antigens.
