Spokane area electrical engineering consulting firm looking for a full-time entry level Electrical
Drafter I to work within our engineering & design team to develop custom designed electrical and
control systems. Applicant must be proficient with ACAD.
Position Accountabilities
The entry level Electrical Drafter I will work with engineers, designers, and project managers to
support project related activities and design department. Responsibilities include but are not
limited to:
• Ability to create, maintain and update for the design department:
o Standards & Blocks & Electrical Details
o Procedures
o Project binders (prints, data sheets, references)
• Detailed industrial control panel layouts, bills of material, schematics, wiring diagrams,
PLC I/O drawings
• General arrangement, grounding, lighting, receptacle and conduit plans
• One-lines, three-lines, VFD connection and motor control center schematics
Required Skills and Education
(Must have to be considered)
Proficient with AutoCAD in paper and model space
• Has the ability to understand design drawings
• Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team on multiple projects within a
performance driven environment.
• High degree of self-checking, self-QC, completeness, attention to detail, documentation
• Speed important but accuracy critical
• Ability to work within budgets and client driven schedules required.
• Self-motivated individual (a must)
• Written and verbal communication skills
Other Skills/Experience/Education
• Degree or Certificate in Drafting Technology using CAD or equivalent experience
preferred Location: Liberty Lake, WA
Compensation: DOE
