Avista Corp is hiring a Field System Technician in Spokane. The field systems technician is a core role inside of the Mobility Center of Excellence (MCOE). ItÂ’s primary purpose is to provide excellent customer service coupled with expert technical skill sets to mobile and remote customers. As an extension of our delivery and operations teams, the field systems technicians are a key component to the mobile and field office business initiatives.
Requires: Four years experience with Microsoft Windows and PC desktop support in an enterprise environment. Minimum 2 year college degree, or equivalent experience, A+,Network+ and MCP in current Microsoft Desktop platform (XP or Vista) required. MCSE, CCNA and 4 year college degree preferred. Excellent customer service, great communication, a high level of professionalism and teamwork are expected. The ability to manage inter/intra-organizational relationships, follow procedures and attention to detail are key. Applicants must have experience with provisioning and supporting pc based mobile field solutions including, but not limited to, notebooks, rugged pcÂ’s, wwan, wlan, pan, bgan, configuration management and application delivery. An in depth knowledge of commonly used mobility services (Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc..) is required. Applicant must have a valid driverÂ’s license with a safe driving record.
