MLDL is a product development company in the general boating and dock accessories market with a niche in boating safety products. The Dock-n-Safe Safety Handrail is an assistive safety handrail product designed to alleviate the awkward problem of controlling the vessel at the dock and prevent injuries while getting on or off boats or other types of watercrafts.

Job description:
Represent our Company and product in a professional manner
Report your activities in writing to owner Marty Long on a weekly basis
Making cold calls
Follow-up on Leeds
Tracking sale figures
Increase our company distributor list
Increase sales
Managing current and newly established accounts
Making contacts with buyers
Making direct sales to end user
Tracking and Closing sales
Job Qualifications:
Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Web browsing
Own a computer with internet access
Own a phone
Have strong written and verbal skills
Experience in Telemarketing
Strong closing skills
Knowledge of boating, docks construction features and dock accessories
Applicant must be upbeat, positive and enjoy talking to people all across the country
Quick learner, organized, self motivated and honest
Established supply chain and vendor relationships:
We have established contract manufacturing relationships capable of producing the rail system and either drop shipping to our warehouse or direct to our distribution partners or end customers.
The Product you will be selling
Dock-n-Safe Safety Handrail is an assistive and safety product designed to alleviate the problem of controlling the vessel at the dock, allowing boat users to dock their boats conveniently at fixed positions, and importantly prevent injuries and ultimately dock owner liability while allowing safe and easy access on and off boats, watercrafts, or docks.
The Dock-n-Safe Safety Handrail is made with a corrosive resistant heavy duty material, a patent pending safety grip technology is added to the inside perimeter for added gripping hold and slipping when hands are wet. Two reflective decals are placed on the outside perimeter so someone would be able to find Dock-n-Safe Safety Handrail at night.
Market Opportunity
People are drawn to water like Moths to a flame. Whether it be Ocean, Lakes, or Rivers, people love to recreate on the water. This has spawned a $10 Billion industry devoted to boat building alone, with billions more spent on accessories and services like Dock Building on the thousands of water bodies here in the US. Exact figures for boat docks nationally is unknown, however from a number of sources, we have hypothesized potentially 3 to 4 Million private boat docks exist today.
There were 12.8 million boats registered in the US in 2007. Presumably, every one of those families used a dock at many points to embark and disembark from their watercraft. This activity is inherently dangerous and in fact results in many reported and no doubt countless unreported injuries every year.
If you have ever launched a boat at a boat launch you would recognized this fact in that one person is left trying to hold the boat to the dock or vice versa with everything from balancing between the boat and the dock to kneeling on the doc trying to control the boat from floating away. The YouTube phenomenon can illustrate countless of these comedic but potentially risky and injury prone scenarios where people inevitably fall into the water, or slip etc.
Inevitably every dock has multiple boat access points, and therefore multiple vulnerable points of embarking and disembarking which can be mitigated by the patent pending Dock-n-Safe Safety Handrail system without impeding the valuable dock square footage or other activities such as jumping into the water, or sun bathing. This is an underserved market opportunity.
