IT Operations Manager (Post Falls, ID) Full-time

Summary
Use your IT administration and trouble-shooting skills to manage and maintain Citrix and VMware servers, and support the users relying on these systems. With a highly distributed sales force, relying heavily on this infrastructure, this position is on the front lines of internal operations support with responsibility for business critical infrastructure.
You'll join and manage a small team of IT professionals that ensure the integrity and availability of these systems, provide training to new employees on the use of these systems and business applications, and support existing employees with their day to day business productivity questions and issues. Common trouble-shooting and support tasks include questions regarding the SalesLogix CRM system, Exchange/Outlook, Citrix Desktop, VoIP, remote network and related ISP connectivity and performance.
The IT Operations team also assists in the design, configuration, maintenance and management of several VMware labs utilized by various departments including: Sales, Support, Training, Quality Assurance and Engineering.
This team is also responsible for the manufacturing and quality control of TriGeo's line of network security appliances. Equipment receiving, inventory management, system imaging, quality assurance, order management, customer interaction and shipment processing are all attributes of this aspect of the team's responsibilities.
Periodic assignments include assisting with product testing, conducting Proof of Concept product evaluations and the generation of findings/recommendations reports, writing scripts and tools to automate processes and documenting department procedures.
Your hands-on IT experience and management skills are vital in this "player-coach" role where youÂ’ll be expected to lead by example.

Experience & Education Requirements
• Bachelors of Science Degree with a major in information systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three years experience managing small to medium sized business IT infrastructure and staff

• MS SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008) database administration
