MARKETING ASSISTANT

Speedpro Imaging of Spokane is searching for a junior Marketing person. This is an entry level position, great for someone looking to develop and build on their marketing skills. A desire to interact with customers and business prospects is essential. The goal is to build company awareness and educate prospects on the companyÂ’s capabilities.

All applicants must enjoy talking with people, discussing product benefits on the phone and coordinating different marketing materials. This individual should be a high energy, people oriented person. It includes the opportunity to get involved in learning a variety of marketing tactics.

The Marketing Assistant (MA) is completely involved in the coordination of sales. They must be organized and track progress of work completed. The MA will be trained to use sales techniques and to be creative when dealing with prospects. Another major duty of the MA is to assist with the marketing side of the business. The MA will use the Company Marketing Plan, including direct mail programs and target marketing strategies. They are actively involved in contacting associated businesses that partner with Speedpro Imaging in selling our products, including attending networking events (for example, Chamber of Commerce events).

Skills Required:

• An outgoing personality; comfortable on the telephone

• Highly organized; able to take direction and work independently

• Experience with database programs (ACT!, Schedule Plus or Maximizer) a plus

Compensation: Hourly rate ($11+) plus opportunities for monthly bonuses and annual profit sharing
