A Spokane area business is currently interviewing for a security officer. This position is responsible for providing general safety & security services for corporate buildings & grounds in the Spokane Valley/Liberty Lake area.
Duties include but are not limited to:
„« Random safety & security checks of buildings both interior & exterior.
„« Greeting employees arriving for their shift, checking ID¡¦s and monitoring employee compliance with policies and procedures.
„« Greeting customers and visitors, signing them into the facility and directing to appropriate department.
„« Monitoring facility Access Controls; Doors & Gates to include physical checks, computer monitoring and video surveillance.
„« Notify Safety/Security Manager and/or appropriate departmental manager of after hour¡¦s incidents, accidents or spills. Following company policy and procedures take other actions and make notifications appropriate for the incident.
Hours of coverage:
„« Work shifts ranging from 8-12 hrs.
„« Shift work: swing, graveyard and weekends
„« Requires 24/7 coverage for major holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas)
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
„« Must possess valid drivers license
„« Knowledge of mechanical processes
„« Strong communication skills, attention to detail
„« Ability to successfully complete 1st Aid/CPR training
„« Prior Safety/Security experience Location: Spokane Area
Compensation: $9.00 to $12.00 DOE; Uniform Provided
