We are seeking an energetic, organized and responsible individual who enjoys working with children to join our staff in Spokane, WA.
The Assistant Center Director is responsible for assisting the Kumon Instructor in the overall running of the center including student instruction, lesson planning, parent communication, accounting, etc.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Teaching/tutoring experience or experience working with children
• Excellent communication skills with adults and children
• Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and data entry. Quickbooks®/Quicken® proficiency a plus.
• Math and Reading aptitude
• Commitment to making a difference in the community
• Strong belief in the importance of education
• Ability to work afternoons/early evenings (18-25 hours per week)
Ideal candidate will have a very outgoing, social personality and strong ability to multi-task.

Location: Spokane, WA
Compensation: Initially; hourly ($12-$14) but could evolve to salary.
