Rapidly growing Software Development company looking to hire immediately a technical support/Quality Assurance representative.

We are experiencing rapid but solid growth, and need to expand our support team – AGAIN. The Technical Support department provides level 2 and 3 support to the Customer Service team which provides phone support to the company’s customer base of 700+ remote sites.

Duties will include:

• support of client PCs running Windows XP Professional

• performing system maintenance, remote support and update of applications

• Troubleshooting application problems by downloading log files and viewing information

• Installation of company developed software on remote systems, as well as regular maintenance updates

• Regular use of SQL Server 2005 Management Sudio, Microsoft Access and Excel

• Light development and maintenance of reports using Crystal Reports

• Regular contribution to the company’s knowledge base

• Assist in the support and upgrade of company’s network and PCs

Minimum Requirements:

• SQL syntax and ad-hoc query generation – DEMONSTRATED ABILITY to write SQL statements

• Current experience with Microsoft Product Suite – specifically Word, Excel, Access

• Current experience with Windows System functionality including User Maintenance, Networking, Local and Remote Printers, stopping/starting services, Basic Registry, Command windows

• be eager to learn or master new technical skills including SQL Server and Crystal Reports

• be able to adapt quickly to the fast paced work environment

• demonstrate their ability to work well with Customer Service and other Technical Support Staff
