Market Connect Group is a premier service organization that partners with both manufacturers and retailers to increase sales at store level. We provide in store services to department stores, mass merchants and stand alone retailers throughout the United States. MCG is currently hiring a Merchandiser in the Coeur d' Alene, ID area.
Position Available
- Part Time Merchandiser
Job Descriptions
- Part time; up to 20 hrs per month.
- Occasional weekend Work required.
- Reports to District Manager
In Store Merchandising
- Provides Market intelligence. (Color/pattern selling, competition sales and placement, customerÂ’s needs, visual/fixture presentation, ideaÂ’s to create new business, etc.)
- Shares problems and issues and seeks guidance from District Manager.
- Shares individual retailer information with client and Account Manager.
- Educates and motivates store associates on selling techniques, product features and benefits and new trends and arrivals.
- Assist Customers in product selection on sales floor
- Develops relationships with store management, sales staff, and merchandising.
- Secures the best real estate for all products.
- Replenishes stock and merchandise by client specifications.
- Enhance Store Presentations/Plan-o-grams
Job Requirements
- Personal Computer, internet access and printer required; obtains in store instructions and reports work via web reporting system
- Personal Digital Camera Required
- Reliable Transportation
- Merchandising and Sales experience is required
