We are accepting resumes for an experienced MEDICAL BILLER to work in a fast-paced A/R position.

In this role you will: *Contact insurance companies directly to collect on outstanding invoices. *Process billings to patients and third parties. *Maintain supporting documentation clearly and concisely. *Key data quickly and accurately. (Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm) *Ensure confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations.

Experience and skills required: *Minimum of 2 years of billing experience in medical office or hospital. *Familiarity with Meditech or Medisoft software. *Proven knowledge of ICD-9/CPT coding and medical terminology. *Excellent analytical skills. *The ability to work in a fast-pace, high-stress environment. *Strong 10 key, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer skills. *Excellent customer service skills and calmness under pressure.
