Available Position:
Alternatives to Domestic Violence (ADVP) Legal Criminal Advocate
Position Summary:
Primary job duties are to advocate for victims of domestic violence that are/or may be involved with criminal prosecution, to empower clients with self-advocacy, to assist clients with safety planning, to assist Prosecution with offender accountability, to provide options and resources for legal issues and to work with co-workers to ensure a smooth running of legal advocate office.
Qualifications:
BachelorÂ’s degree in social science or criminal justice field from a four-year college or university. Prior domestic violence and/or criminal justice system experience strongly desired. Survivors of domestic violence are encouraged to apply.
Hours/Pay:
This is a 40 hour per week position with benefits
