Maintain published standards and perform audits based on those standards. Administer and report on compliance with the Training Certification Standards (TCS). Train employees in support of the certification and quality programs. Improve control and quality of Production, resulting in reduction of incoming service requests and returns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Maintain current Operational Method Sheets (OMS) for all work positions.
2. Conduct training with affected employees on any changes to OMS procedures.
3. Evaluate effectiveness of OMS procedures in achieving quality standards.
4. Perform daily audits using the OMS Process Audit sheets.
5. Administer the TCS program through the Certification Matrix tracking tool.
6. Conduct a secondary certification evaluation of employees.
7. Evaluate TCS to ensure it does not conflict with OMS standards.
8. Perform Configured Product inspections.
9. In the Production Managers absence ensure the necessary inspections are completed and filed for product certifications.
10. Deliver training, including new-hire training on the quality process and system.
11. Audit other manufacturing sites (requires travel about once quarterly).
Job Requirements
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of QC/Production experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and write related reports and correspondence.
• Able to used Excel, including the ability to manipulate objects in workbooks and provide graphical reports.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages and ratios in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Knowledge of algebraic formulas is desirable.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in identifying root cause analysis, developing a plan and implementing solutions.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
