Business Systems Analyst (Spokane) Full-time

Banner Bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst. This position may be located in Spokane, Boise, Walla Walla, or Kennewick.
Description:
Serves as a computer technology expert with business background and process workflow knowledge to analyze, define and deliver project requests for a varying number of business systems in support of banking applications.
Acts as a liaison for projects with technical and business partners to implement initiatives in support of business strategies and objectives. Compiles and analyzes information from all areas in a detailed and comprehensive form to provide recommendations with objective findings and alternatives. Interfaces with internal resources at all levels and coordinates and communicates with vendor participants to ensure a successful implementation, with timely delivery and ongoing support as required by the client.
Responsibilities will include:
„« Partnering with business client to define and develop detailed functional requirements for new development and enhancement of existing systems. Includes identification of current work flow processes for determination of procedural changes, technical implications and efficiency gains.
„« Working with multiple development teams to create functional designs that meet the user needs. May include vendor technical teams in conjunction with internal engineers.
„« Identify interface requirements with focus on seamless end user experience.
„« Collaborate for design of user specified software applications and reporting utilizing multiple computing platforms and data sources. Define technical specifications and design specifics, coordinating with internal and external technical staff.
„« Develop test plans for system testing and coordinate execution to ensure quality results meet defined requirements.
„« Maintain documentation associated with full systems life cycle for development and business requirements.
„« Ability to function in a multi purpose role as the project manager and analyst coordinating a team of varied skill sets and roles. Includes project planning, leading meetings, planning agendas, tracking issues, status reporting, preparing and making presentations.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications ¡V Bachelor¡¦s degree, or equivalent work experience ¡V 8 or more experience in Business Analyst in technology applications.
Preferred:
„« Analysis experience in banking/finance industry utilizing formalized life cycle development.
„« Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including technical writing, document management, time and priority management, organizational, matrix management and team work.
„« CBAP ¡V Certified Business Analyst Professional is a plus.
„« SharePoint administration is a plus/
„« Technical background or working closely with a software development group is a plus.
„« Strong understanding and application of project life cycle methodology and testing a plus.
„« Ability to create, execute, and review test plans with subsequent research and issue resolution a plus.
„« Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft applications including Microsoft project and Visio for work flow and system configuration diagrams.
„« Strong leadership and interpersonal business skills.
„« Thorough understanding of banking/financial industry and varying business lines a plus.
