The Tin Roof is looking for a qualified home furnishings sales associate. We are and up-scale boutique, with upscale clients. We are looking for someone who has experience in a retail home furnishings and/or residential interior design. We are looking for someone with a proven record of client management and sales skills. We work with clients in the store as well as in their homes. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment, is a quick learner, is used to multi-tasking, is self-motivated and goal oriented. We are looking for someone who wants a career in home furnishings and design, this is a professional job in a professional setting. We are looking for someone who wants to build a business within a business.
Job Requirements
• Sales, Retail or wholesale Experience - furniture experience is a plus!
• Interest in and excited about home furnishings and design
• Self motivated, highly organized and goal oriented.
• Able to work Weekends - this is a full time position.
• Committed to outstanding customer service
• Understands relationship building and relationship selling
• Comfortable with computers - simple design software, draping software and point of sale software
• Understands the idea of building a business within a business - networking, building clientele, etc
Training
We carry a large selection of home furnishings and have an extensive vendor list to draw from. Our training program will enable you to learn about our selection of products and services. We have on-going training, coaching and development programs provide a strong path for proven sales success.
Compensation
The Tin Roof offers a very generous compensation program designed to encourage and reward outstanding performance. We pay commission with a guaranteed monthly draw, plus spiffs, bonuses and rewards.
