WHO WE ARE:
We are an early stage start-up headquartered in Spokane, Washington. The company is 30-60 days from our initial market offering, so we’re in “stealth” mode. We’re currently in the process of conducting focus groups and related market research to validate key marketing assumptions, while also learning more about future customer profiles in terms of demographic, behavioral, psychographic, and firmographic factors.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Our ideal candidate is someone who currently is or has been directly employed or worked via contract for a F1000 company, prominent brand, or large employer in the Northwest in recruiting, human resources, or hiring manager/supervisory type roles for at least one year, but preferably more. You should have direct experience interviewing, screening, recruiting, and/or hiring candidates or some combination of those factors.
THE GIG:
This opportunity entails your participation in small, phone-based focus groups usually involving one to two other participants, with the option to participate in in-person focus groups as available. You will be expected to lead a structured conversation with the other participants on predefined topics, while also being able to evaluate the other participants according to specific criterion and your professional opinion. It is critical that you are able to interact and converse in an honest, authentic manner.
If you meet the qualifications for an ideal candidate, the actual work can be done via telecommute on a highly flexible basis including on evenings and weekends if you prefer. Your involvement will be confidential and you will not be required to disclose your identity to other participants. PLEASE NOTE that you will be required to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement as well.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation depends on your qualifications, but selected candidates can expect to be paid in the $30-$50 range per focus group depending upon experience and qualifications (each focus group typically lasts 30-60 minutes, with actual time spent being determined by you based on when you feel the appropriate information has been explicated).
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Please note that this is a part-time, contract position. Selected candidates can expect 4-10 focus groups with the potential for more over the next 5 months if they wish, but opportunities will never exceed 10-20 a week. We will be very flexible with ideal candidates in terms of how little or how much they work. The candidate will also have significant control over how the work is actually done with the expectation that they will perfrom the work in ways that are consistent with their professional experience and training.
