Senior HR Business Partner
Advantage IQ has created a new position on our HR Team and is currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for our Spokane, Washington office. The role of HR is to be an integral partner providing strategic and technical “People Solutions” to the business.
In this newly created role, our Senior HR Business Partner will experience all the benefits of working for a fast-¬paced, entrepreneurial company while having a significant impact on the energy management and energy consulting industry.
Role Description & Brief Description of Responsibilities
As a key member of our HR Team, the Senior HR Business Partner will partner with the business to provide an employee-¬oriented, high performance culture emphasizing quality, productivity and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
As our Senior HR Business Partner, you will actively partner with leadership and their teams to provide a broad range of HR expertise including the implementation of company¬wide programs and initiatives. You will develop strong relationships with our HR experts to broker services to meet the needs of the business including workforce planning, recruitment, employee on¬boarding, performance management, employee relations and other HR compliance responsibilities. Additionally, you will also be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of legal compliance and affirmative action processes and systems.
You will provide expertise and guidance to leadership in proactively resolving and mediating employee issues through creative problem¬-solving, clear communications and structured training. You will assist managers in the development and issuance of performance behavior and corrective actions as necessary.
As a partner to the business you will insure the right people are in the right position at the right time by consulting on workforce planning, job position specifications, candidate evaluation and selection. You will partner with our Director of Leadership Development and Organizational Effectiveness to support leadership and team development initiatives to further enhance our performance culture. You will lead cultural change, challenge the status quo and identify creative, collaborative solutions to business issues.
As a member of our HR Leadership Team, you will partner with the SVP of HR to provide leadership and operational management for the Spokane HR Team, which will hiring, performance management, career coaching and counseling and team building.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
As our successful candidate, you will have a minimum of ten years of diverse HR experience in roles such as HR Director, Senior HR Business Partner, Employee Relations Manager or similar leadership role in a fast¬-paced, entrepreneurial environment. An undergraduate degree in human resources, business, finance, or equivalent field will be required for success.
You will demonstrate an ability to provide strategic thought leadership and be adept at influencing and building creditability in diverse, cross-¬functional environments. You will be collaborative and customer-focused professional with the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization. Your experience will include consulting and business partnering experience in performance management, employee relations, with strong knowledge of HR law. You are a self¬-starter who is proactive, solutions-oriented and willing to "roll up your sleeves and get things done".
You are an effective communicator who demonstrates sound understanding of the business and has the ability to adapt to new organizations and people.
As part of the HR team, you will be able to anticipate challenges within cross-¬functional, complex structures and have experience developing and implementing complex processes and systems. Your organizational skills and strong attention to detail will enhance your ability to measure and continuously improve quality across all programs.
Experience leading, mentoring and effectively managing teams to performance will be critical to your success of this role.
