WeÂ’re seeking a seasoned human resources professional to partner with department managers in providing assistance and advice related to management of bank employees. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a contact for HR questions, recruiting needs, issues, and concerns posed by managers and employees, and contributes to a variety of projects designed to support bank goals and objectives. The ability to establish and maintain relationships built on trust, to manage a variety of sensitive situations, including employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and investigations, with confidentiality, discretion, and objectivity are keys to success in this position.
Position Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Organizational Development, or related field required
• At least five years of work experience in an HR generalist capacity, preferably with experience in banking
• Ability to effectively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and employment levels within and outside of the organization, with an emphasis in relationship management and ability to establish trust and partnership
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of federal and state labor laws and human resources policies, practices, and procedures
• Proficient level of interpersonal skills to communicate, empathize, influence, and reason with people in situations that are often sensitive and stressful, and ability to handle those situations with confidentiality, objectivity, and discretion
• Proven planning, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft products and HRIS systems
