We're looking for an Audit Senior to take the next step in their career and join our Commercial Service team in our Spokane office. The primary responsibilities of this position include:
• Perform and supervise a range of auditing, tax, and accounting issues from start to finish and over see larger, more complex engagements.
• Evaluate the client's internal controls; prepare an audit program outlining the extent of sampling required, and schedule the engagement.
• Review work papers for accuracy and completion, financial statements for suitability of presentation and adequacy of disclosures, tax returns, and documentation of discussions with clients.
• Summarize engagement, making planning points for the next year, prepare management letters, draft reports, and prepare routine client correspondence
• Cultivate an increasing level of technical skill in auditing, tax, or management services, and consider the possibility of industry or service specialization.
• Keep current with Firm and State board CPE compliance requirements only if licensed.
The successful candidate will need to have:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA certification, or working towards certification
• 2 - 5 years experience
• Advanced technical knowledge of audit, accounting, and tax concepts and the ability to apply these services to various client situations
• Dynamic interpersonal manner with the capacity to train through supervised practice
• Excellent client service orientation with an ability to handle pressure in a positive, professional fashion.
Minimal out of town travel is required for this position (approximately 10% or less)
