This position will be responsible to improve the overall employee effectiveness/ performance through the application of individual and group training techniques and programs, consistant with FLSmidth's organizational priorities.
Conducts new employee orientation sessions and on-the-job training, including use of compters and software;
Identifies areas/ topics where training is required/ needed;
Formulates training outline and determines instructional methods, utilizing individual training, group instructions, demonstrations and workshops; selects or develops trauung aids such as handbooks, visual aids and tutorials;
Conducts/coordinates department specific training in areas where a training need is identified;
Conducts/coordinates Company specific training in areas where a training need is identified.
Conducts training in HR related topics, including Soft Skills, health & safety, policy compliance, harassment , et al..
Conducts refresher training sessions in topics identified as "need" areas or where compliance is required;
Evaluates and assists in designin trainin manuals and related materials, training classes and training procedures;
Tracks progress of trainees through routine tests, observation and feedback from supervisors;
Evaluates the effectiveness of current training programs;
Completes required reports and documents ;
Tracks CE units required for licences, certificates et al;
BA/BS degree in related field of study plus 3 years of industry and job specific technical experience.
OR
AA degree in related field of study plus 5 years of industry and job specific technical experience. Location: FLSmidth Spokane, Inc.
