Spokane County United Way has a part-time position available to help develop and support the organization's strategies to help children and youth in Spokane County succeed in school and graduate from high school prepared for higher education or a career. Responsibilities of this position will include:

 Scheduling and coordinating community conversations.

 Researching and analyzing local education data.

 Improving United Way's capacity to recruit, engage and support volunteers in education.

 Evaluating current education investments.

 Drafting meeting minutes, conversation summaries and reports.

 Supporting United Way's capacity to work collectively with other organizations to achieve results.

Minimum qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree (education or related field preferred)

 Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

 Excellent organizational skills

This is a part-time, project-based position. The Associate will be expected to work 30 hours per week. The position is available immediately. Anticipated project duration is through June 30, 2012.
