A well-established and respected electrical and technology consulting firm has an opportunity for a creative, career-minded software programmer engineer in Spokane, WA. The control systems engineer/technician must be an expert using SCADA/HMI software development and PLC programming. This position will include SCADA programming, occasional PLC system programming, instrumentation and control system design support, commissioning and other software development tasks. The ideal candidate will have exceptional energy and enthusiasm for quickly learning new and interesting products, technologies, and applications. Excellent people skills and flexibility for occasional regional travel are a requirements of the position.
Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years experience in SCADA/HMI software development and PLC programming skills specifically working with Industrial and/or Municipal --Water & Wastewater projects. A BSEE is preferred. Candidates must have excellent communication skills preferably with demonstrated public speaking experience.
