Office Assistant Wanted (PT) (near Downtown virtual) Part-time

• Looking for PA/VA to assist me in my business. 90% of the work can be done from your home.

• Most of the job involves using Joomla, WP blog, Aweber, Shopping Carts, Optimize Press or similar.

• You will meet with me once a week for about 2 hours in my office.

• 8 – 12 hours a week to begin with.

• Not necessary, but if you have experience with Quickbooks, more hours may become available.

• If you need full time or want something temporary, please do not apply.

• Hours are flexible. Being close to Downtown in a plus.

• Prefer Mac user.

    Need a PA/VA to help me take my business to the next level. I am launching my book, creating webinars, teleseminars and online classes. I have an international business facilitating workshops and a private counseling practice in my home.


    • Confidentiality and privacy: Clients confidentiality needs to be protected.

    • My business is mostly spiritual in nature and being open to working in this environment is important.

    • Tech Savvy: Prefer knowledge of Mac computers. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 or Office for PCs and can make the transition.

    • Ability to work with Aweber, 1ShoppingCart, Optimize Press and similar software programs.

    • Attention to Details: Able to edit documents for accuracy, check your own work and be detail oriented. Perfectionist type tendencies are good.

    • Highly Organized. Able to have me delegate to you and know the job is getting done well. Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and multi-task.

    • Social Networking: Skills in Internet research and navigation and the ability to set up and update social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Knowledge of SEO is a plus!

    • Filming: Ability to edit film in Garage Band (Mac) and transferring them to YouTube.

    • Excellent Communication Skills: My communication style is direct and I work best with others who are able to communicate directly with me as well. There may be times you will be asked to assist me in a project in the public and professionalism is important. In my office, the environment is casual.

    • Highly Motivated and Responsible: Self-motivation is preferred. I am open you to your vision to help me to initiate or improve projects. As a small business owner your productivity and ethics are crucial to my bottom line.

    • Flexible: Position has a flexible schedule centered around 10-5 core hours. If you are a student or have other part time work we can work around your schedule. You’re able to produce high quality results under tight time frames.

    • Creative: Need help creating presentations using Microsoft Office for Mac or Publisher.

    • Social and Positive: You enjoy working with people and enjoy supporting the development of a business. You have vision and can share ideas to help the growth of the business.

    Interns in a business program are welcome.
