Lead Production Specialist-Pathways (Spokane WA)

SKILS'KIN is a non-profit corporation that provides employment and support services for individuals with disabilities. We are currently seeking a Lead Production Specialist in our Pathways department.
Duties: Perform job coaching duties for individuals with disabilities.
Assist individuals in a variety of settings including the community, at work and in SKILS-KIN's specialized industries workshop.
Assist and provide on-the-job training and daily job duties to ensure the individual's success in their Pathway to Employment.
Responsible to coach the employees in learning work-related activities and requirements such as attendance rules; and learn appropriate work-related (including social) behaviors when dealing with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities, work under stressful situations and work independently with the ability to work with several supervisors.
Responsible for all documentation/reporting, training and certifications provided.
This position will communicate to external contractors/vedors about/for our contracts, will build new contracts, and will oversee all contracts in the Employment department.
Keep up vehicle maintenance schedule through outside vendor.
Requirements: High school degree/ GED required.
Microsoft Office/Excel experience, good written and verbal communication.
Experience working with people with a disability preferred.
Empathy for those with disabilities or disadvantages is required.
Must pass a background check, pre-screening drug test, have a valid driver's license, maintain vehicle insurance and be insurable by SKILS-KIN vehicle insurance carrier. Must be 21 or older to be insurable.
Preference given to those with documented disabilities.
Shift: Full time Mon-Fri, must have flexible schedule for occasional split shifts, weekends; days hours may vary
Compensation: $11.50/hr + benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), vacation, sick leave, paid holidays)
