Are you an engineer with at least two years of RF electrical engineering experience, who thrives on the challenges of designing new networks? Our client is seeking a Jr. Radio Frequency Engineer who will assist in bidding activities within the engineering department. The individual in this position will assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. Additional responsibilities may include: provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications; ensure that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications; provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.



Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with onsite and in-house technical support of sales teams through verbal communication, written response, and presentation to customers.

• Participate on product development teams by providing input of customers and field knowledge.

• Support Sales, Project Management and Field Engineering.

• Assist the implementation team in the design and development of customer projects.

• Handle large amounts of data, interpret its quality, and manipulate it using various software tools, including industry leading propagation analysis mapping tools



Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience, (internship/externship included). Candidates with geospatial modeling experience, MS Access and SQL databases, and MS Excel are highly preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Ability to perform database queries in SQL and MS Access

• Software development experience in C#, C+, .net

• Software scripting knowledge i.e. Ruby, Pearl, Java

• Solid understanding of the terms surrounding wireless communication and their effects on RF propagation

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Rapid learner with new applications and GIS tools

Payrate:

$25-28/hour, DOE
