On-Call Relief Shelter Advocate for a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Primary job duties are to provide crisis intervention counseling, case management, support services, and advocacy to vicitms and children of domestic violence in a confidential, residential setting.

Position Responsibilities:

• Serves as a relief residential counselor and relief case manager at a shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children.
  
• Provides individual crisis oriented counseling, crisis intervention, safety planning, and client advocacy services.
  
• Provides support services as requested.
  
• Maintains client files, in accordance with YWCA standards and standards established by various funding agencies, and document all referrals and instructions. Records are to be reviewed for completeness.
  
• Observes all program requirements for confidentiality and privileged communication.
