CAPITAL PROJECTS MANAGER





NATURE OF WORK



Work involves a broad scope of engineering, architectural, construction management and project management responsibilities for the design and construction of facilities for the assigned department.



Acts as project manager for program with multiple dimensions or projects.



Acts as the technical expert for multiple programs, projects and/or management. Provides technical expertise in the evaluation and analysis of complex, sensitive and political issues.



Ensures public works projects meet state and federal requirements for bidding and construction, including the Davis-Bacon Act.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS



Training and Experience: Master's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field from an accredited school; and a minimum of five years of progressively more professional experience in capital project management.

Computer Skills: Competency within the Microsoft Office Suite.
