ALK AbelloÂ’ Source Materials, Inc., (ASM) a leading manufacturer of quality allergenic biological source materials, and a member of the global ALK-AbelloÂ’ group of companies, is recruiting for our open Temporary Product Development Technician position. Join our stable and growing company and provide leadership and expertise to our workforce located in our new 80,000 square foot facility in Post Falls, ID.
The Product Development Technician is responsible for executing studies as directed, Pilot Plant production and support activities which includes: development laboratory analysis, accurately recording data such as observations, measurements, and reporting results and maintaining required documentation. This position is also responsible for equipment set up and assembly, ordering, stocking, and receipt and inspection of supplies and raw materials. The Product Development Technician is also involved in preparation of supplies and equipment for analysis or studies and pilot production. This position is also required to work in compliance with, as well as giving input to create or update relevant protocols, study designs, methods and SOPÂ’s. Other duties include cleaning, disinfecting and maintenance of laboratory and pilot plant equipment as well as assisting the quality, farming or production departments if needed.
The successful candidate will have an AA or BS in a Science related field, plus 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a Pharmaceutical environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous cGMP experience is highly desired. Demonstration of excellent communication, facilitation skills and teamwork are a must. Previous experience in a leadership role or supervisory experience preferred.
All positions require the ability to work around hazardous chemicals and allergenic antigens.
