Sr Network Administrator (Spokane)

Experienced Network Administrator needed to augment existing Information Systems team for established web-based software company. The team is responsible for the integrity and operation of the corporate network, production servers, mail systems, operating databases, and individual machines at both the primary and backup sites.
This position manages network servers, hardware, software and telecommunication equipment in order to maintain smooth uninterrupted operations and workflow for the company and its clients. In addition, this position is involved in software rollouts, monitors the system for support issues, performs security assessments and due diligence audits, upgrades software and hardware, and is responsible for general network health and balance.
Responsibilities require an understanding of both networking and systems theory and practice.
Our ideal candidate will have most or all of the following attributes and experience:
Experience: Five years of network and server administration experience in Information Systems including Windows Server Administration, virtualization technologies, and server hardware support and/or a 4-year degree in MIS, computer science, software engineering or a related field.
General Network Administration experience includes Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and routed networks environments utilizing a mix of CatOS and IOS.
General knowledge of SQL server administration, replication, writing queries, management reports and experience with Microsoft SQL 2000-2008 including database analysis, problem determination, and growth forecasting.
Ability to relate to technical and non-technical individuals and successfully explain technical concepts. Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage a multi-priority workload.
Experience with security assessments, quality assurance and system audits such as PCI, SAS 70, ISO 9001, etc is highly desirable.
