Senior Auditor, SPOK707 (Spokane) Full-time

We're looking for a Senior Auditor to join the Commercial Service team in our Spokane office.



The primary responsibilities of this position include:



•Perform and supervise a range of auditing, tax, and accounting issues from start to finish and over see larger, more complex engagements.

•Evaluate the client's internal controls; prepare an audit program outlining the extent of sampling required, and schedule the engagement.

•Review work papers for accuracy and completion, financial statements for suitability of presentation and adequacy of disclosures, tax returns, and documentation of discussions with clients.

•Summarize engagement, making planning points for the next year, prepare management letters, draft reports, and prepare routine client correspondence.

•Cultivate an increasing level of technical skill in auditing, tax, or management services, and consider the possibility of industry or service specialization.

•Keep current with Firm and State board CPE compliance requirements only if licensed.



The successful candidate will need to have:



•Bachelor's degree in Accounting

•CPA certification, or working towards certification

•2 - 5 years experience.

•Advanced technical knowledge of audit, accounting, and tax concepts and the ability to apply these services to various client situations.

•Dynamic interpersonal manner with the capacity to train through supervised practice.

•Excellent client service orientation with an ability to handle pressure in a positive, professional fashion.

Minimal out of town travel is required for this position (approximately 10% or less).
