The Scotts Company is searching for part-time seasonal Retail Sales Merchandisers and Product Counselors in your area to work on site at our retail partners such as Home Depot, Lowes and Walmart.
Job Responsibilities
Educate consumers and retail partners on Scotts lawn and garden care products.
Assist consumers with finding the best product solution to meet their needs.
Develop creative merchandising displays.
Execute plan-o-grams.
Set and stock product on shelves.
Cross merchandise to maximize sales for retail partners.
Job Requirements
Valid driver's license.
Valid auto insurance.
Must have reliable transportation and be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have the ability and desire to work in a position which involves: regular lifting of up to 60 lbs. of product and climbing 8-12 foot ladders.
Must have strong sales skills and a high level of comfort with face to face selling and direct customer interaction.
Must have the ability and desire to work in an outdoor labor intensive position handling products such as: fertilizer, pesticides, mulch, grass seed, etc.
